It would appear that things are heating up and Arsenal might actually spend some cash. Obviously no one wants Wenger to go out and spend his Christmas money because he has got it but I everyone knows he is fairly conservative in his spending. With that story consuming the inches of the papers it seems to have made all the other stories vanish – but I have found them! I even got up extra early to find them for you, don’t thank me.

Obviously Arshavin from Zenith for £12m – The figure is obviously questionable but The Sun are putting their faultless reputation on the line for this one. I would be happy with £12m no more than £15m. Andrei was shown round the training ground but apparently Bendtner was shown round Ibrox on the last day of the summer window. According to the Daily Mail he hopes Arsenal can agree terms.

Toure is going nowhere until he has been replaced – This makes sense considering our defensive frailty.

Eboue to Inter – Jose Mourinho playing his usual games. It would be amusing but I think Eboue has been pretty good since he got booed off the pitch.


Are there any transfers you want to see? Bendtner to Spurs for £15m would be nice or Gallas to Man City as Captain £20m? Yaya Toure to Arsenal for a 5er?

Upson and Parker from West Ham for Bendtner and cash
If no Parker, then swap Upson and Bendtner and get Michael Johnson and some cash from Man City for Toure
Eboue to Inter and buy Joe Hart or Kaspar Schmeichel
or buy Given
Get Arshavin for 10-12 mil only, no more than that...
Sign Walcott and RvP to long term deals
do not need any more strikers as we have Vela, Adebayor, Walcott, RvP, Eduardo
also Nasri and Rosicky and ?Arshavin? as attacking midfielders/strikers

it pisses me off when i hear ppl talking about us not in need of strikers when as a matter of fact, those we have won't be able 2 give us @least 20goals this season. ARSHAVIN is all we need if adebayor is to re-enact his last season magic. Also getting Mikael Arteta without Tim cahil would've been useless coz Arteta can't perform without Cahil, so im glad dat deal didn't go through.

Also, there is nothing wrong with our defence, the problem is in midfield coz they are the one exposing our defence to danger; gather any good defenders from around the world, they will still be conceding with the likes of denilson, song incharge of the midfield.

Adebayor and RvP are not scoring because we have had too many injuries in midfield and they are getting no or poor service of the ball or having to come back to far to get the ball. we need arshavin to help make plays while cesc is out and get nasri to stop having the minor injuries, it would be nice to see rosicky again, but fear he is done for his career, parker or johnson would help the midfield, but johnson has injury as well...we need to play vela more and hopefully eduardo will be back soon to poach some goals...Walcott injury hurts us almost as much as cesc...Denilson and song are good, but just not ready for the rigors of an EPL season, give them a year or 2 and they will be great...

what do you mean adebayor and RvP will not get 20 goals...we are half way through and they have 11 and 10 respectively, looks like both will get 20 or more...no more strikers...central midfield and central defense...

arsenal don't need strikers! we have van persie, adebayor, vela, eduardo, and Walcott coming back! they all score goals! and ade and rvp have ben in very decent goalscoring form.
as for this guy looking for benzema or pato, all I can say is 'ha. hahaha.' anyways we have a 'dream' player called cesc fabregas.
why does everyone want upson??? he's overated in England, no way will wenger swap bendtner for him. wenger rates bndtner extremely highly, also bendtner would never agree to the deal.
if we are swapping toure we should get Richard dunne. he is an excellnt defender and exactly the type of player we need. the defensive midfield position needs strenghtening but I do not see wenger buying one in thus window. arshavin for 15mil will be it for this window.
I think wenger would be happy with a diaby/eboue nasri denilson/song arshavin midfield until cesc comes back. I believe that wenger has high opinions of song and denilson, and even ramsey to play alongside the creative central midfielder.

with due repspect to our manager arsene wenger, sir i believe what we need now are defensive midfielder and creative midfieder since cesc is injured.we really NEED someone an experience player in that midfield(defensive midfielder) it doesnt matter the person sholuld play flair ball of aesenal pattern but play like flamini.arshavin for 10-12mil is ok. we should not wait till eleventh hour b4 we buy any player u know this second phase of premiership that will determine wether we are in contention or not. thanks OJO BABATUNDE MUYIDEEN FROM NIGERIA
